Metal Color Chart Empty
PostSubject: Metal Color Chart    Metal Color Chart EmptySat 26 Jan - 14:31

All those who are planning to have a metal color avatar must consult the metal chart. Extra metals that is not on the list can be added upon request. Non-metal (carbon and boron) and alloys (brass, bronze, steel, electrum) are not allowed for the time being. As per the mechanics of the canon, metal color characters must have sustained a severe trauma proir to the conception of their duel avatar.

Unless specified otherwise, resistance means 0.8 multiplier and weakness means 1.2 to the specific type of attacks. Metal types generally has lower stat bonus per level in exchange for their resistance and special abilities.

Metal Property Resistance Weakness Stat Bonus Per Level Special Ability
Gold A soft, shiny metal that glow with a brilliant luster. It is a good conductor of heat and electricity in addition to being nearly the most malleable and ductile metal. Corrosion Electricity, Heat, Blunt, Pierce, Slash +30 free allocation Golden glitter: Grant one extra upgrade point to be allocated toward upgrading or acquiring ability or enhanced armament
Silver Highly ductile and malleable with white metallic luster. Silver has the highest electrical conductivity of all metals. Corrosion, Pierce, Heat Blunt, Electricity+25 Def, +25 Spd Antimicrobial: Halve the chance of being inflicted with poison status and grant immunity to poisonous terrain
Platinum Although the most ductile, platinum made up in the term of resistance by being the least reactive of all metals. Corrosion, Electricity Pierce +25 Def, +25 Spd Low reactivity: Decrease the effectiveness of corrosive type damage to a 0.6 multiplier
Rhodium Belonging to the platinum group, Rhodium share the trait of being chemically inert. Its high value and heat melting point causes it to be rarely used. Corrosion, Heat Electricity +25 Def, +25 Spd Low reactivity: Decrease the effectiveness of corrosive type damage to a 0.6 multiplier
Nickel Often used in plating process to provide other metal with corrosion resistant surface. It is often found within various types of batteries. Corrosion Slash +25 Def, +25 Killer Gauge Electrode: Enhance electric-base attack with 10% increase in damage
Lead This soft and malleable metal is in fact a potent neurotoxin to living organism. Prolonged exposure can cause damages to nervous system Corrosion, Electricity Blunt, Slash, Pierce +40 Melee or Range, +40 Killer Gauge Lead Poisoning: Enhance physical attack inflicted with 10% poison damage
Aluminum With its strong affinity to react with oxygen, pure aluminum is often found coated with layer of extreme hard aluminum oxide, although a reaction with acid will strip away this protective layer. Blunt, Slash, Pierce Corrosion, Heat +25 Melee or Range, +25 Def Oxide Coating: Grant extra physical resistance with 0.8 multiplier. However, once exposed to acid, these resistances will turn into 1.2 multiplier weakness instead (applies to all blunt, slash, and pierce)
Manganese Hard metal that oxidize easily and is very difficult to melt. It tends to rust like iron when submerged in water and can be dissolved by even by dilute acid Heat, Slash Corrosion +30 Melee or Range, +30 Def None
Titanium With high strength-to-weight ratio, titanium allow a fair amount of resistance to damage in addition to reasonable mobility Slash, Electricity Pierce, Heat +25 Melee or Range, +50Spd Low Density: Grant extra bonus to speed
Magnesium A fairly strong metal, react quickly with oxygen to be coated in protective layer of magnesium oxide. Although highly flammable, igniting it in bulk requires effort Blunt, Pierce Corrosion, Heat +25 Melee or Range, +25 Def Igniter: Enhance fire-base attack with 10% increase in damage
Tungsten Extremely hard yet malleable, tungsten exceed many steels in the term of hardness. It gains the property of being a superconductor at low temperature. Corrosion, Slash, Pierce, Heat Blunt, Electricity +25 Melee, +25 Def Superconductor: Decrease electrical resistance, causing the damage to be subjected to a 1.4 multiplier
Iridium Among the densest metals known to man, iridium offers an impressive array of resistance in exchange for a sharp cost to mobility Corrosion, Blunt, Pierce, Heat Electricity +50Def, -50Spd High Density: Lower mobility with each successive level (Caution: having negative speed means your avatar is incapable of jumping or running)
Iron The most commonly used metal since the dawn of mankind, iron offer high physical resistance but poor defense against special attacks Blunt, Slash, Pierce Corrosion, Heat, Electricity +25 Melee or Range, +50 Def Iron Defense: Grant extra bonus to defense

The choice of stat bonus between Melee or Range must be chosen during the application process. You chosen bonus cannot be changed after your application is accepted.

Damage Type

Blunt: Weapons without edge such as hammer or mace are considered to be dealing blunt damage. Standard explosion also belong to this category
Slash: Cutting damage that is applicable to all edge weapon such as sword, katana, and axe
Pierce: Attacks that focus the damage to a small focal point, applicable to weapons such as spear, bow, and ordinary firearm
Corrosion: Include all types of poison based attacks and damage receive from poisonous terrain
Heat and Electricity should be self explanatory

*All metal abilities cannot be upgraded
*Not all metals do closely follow their real life property so that the power balance could be maintained between each. Additionally, although scientific reasoning proves the properties of silver to be otherwise, this roleplay decided that it would be best to go with the canon.

You can request for other metals to be added to the list with some exception, including but not limited to non-metals (carbon, boron), alloys (brass, bronze, steel, electrum), and alkali metals (lithium, potassium). Do not forget that your trauma needs to be a big one to make you earn a metal type DA.

Below is a list of metal avatars currently active in the website. Please check the availability before making a metal color avatar.
